About This Race

The El Jefe 100 is a 105-mile point-to-point trail race through the Sky Island wilderness of the Sonoran Desert in southern Arizona, featuring 12,548 feet of climbing and 13,910 feet of descent along remote singletrack through cactus-studded desert and oak woodlands. The race has a 36-hour cutoff and is held on National Forest Lands.
