Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department 5K Beer Costume Run

Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department

5K Beer Costume Run

October 31 • Bib pick up at 7:30 AM  Race starts at 8:00 AM• Staplehurst, Nebraska

Forget serious races. This one is about costumes, laughs, community, and just enough bad decisions to make great stories.

Join us Halloween morning in front of the Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department for the most ridiculous 5K in southeast Nebraska.

Here’s how it works:

Starting gun goes off

Drink your first beer

Run to the turnaround point

Drink your second beer

Run back toward town

Drink your final beer before crossing the finish line

Come dressed in your funniest, weirdest, or most over-the-top costume. Whether you show up as Bigfoot, a banana, a cowboy, or your buddy dressed as a hotdog… you’ll fit right in.

Not a beer drinker? Under 21?

No problem. We’ll have carbonated waters available so everyone can join the fun.

Expect:

Costumes

Laughs

Small-town chaos

Questionable running strategy

Great memories

A morning supporting your local fire department ❤️

Whether you’re racing to win or just trying to survive three beers before breakfast, this is the kind of event people talk about all year.

Race Starts:

In front of the Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department
