Join us Halloween morning at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT for the inaugural Run the Sound 5K – Halloween Edition — a fun, community-focused 5K for runners, walkers, families and all fitness levels. Come for the run, stay for the vibes. We’re bringing together fitness, music, costumes and community for a Halloween morning along the beautiful Seaside Park waterfront.

Choose Your Run the Sound Group

We want everyone to enjoy the 5K at their own pace, so participants will be able to join one of three groups:

Group A: Runners

For runners looking to move at a faster pace, chase a personal best or enjoy a more traditional 5K experience. Team Rene will lead the first group out.

Group B: Run / Walk

Perfect for casual runners, joggers and anyone who likes mixing running and walking. This group is all about moving, having fun and enjoying the energy of the event.

Group C: Walkers & Families

For walkers, families, kids and anyone who wants to take their time and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere. This is our relaxed, family-friendly group.

The groups will start separately to give everyone a little extra space on the course while still keeping the event together as one big Run the Sound experience.

Supporting the Purple Heart Foundation

During registration, participants will have the option to make a voluntary donation to the Purple Heart Foundation, supporting programs and resources for Purple Heart recipients, veterans and their families.

Supporting the veteran community is especially meaningful to us, as one of the organizers of Run the Sound is an Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient.

Donations are completely optional and separate from your race registration fee.

$45 Race Day – through 10/31 at 9:00 AM
