Rucks On Main 2026 Veterans Day Ruck March

RUCK MARCH

Twice a year Rucks On Main will host a military-themed ruck march at the Santa Fe Plaza in downtown Temple, Texas to honor our Veterans and The Fallen. This ruck march is open to everyone. On Memorial & Veterans Day weekends, marchers will fill their rucksacks with UP TO 40lbs of non-perishable food items to be donated to charitable organizations. The 40lb max is a *suggested* weight, not required - carry what you are comfortable with.  Marchers will complete a 6-mile route through downtown and historic neighborhoods in North Temple. Before the ruck march, each participant will receive a t-shirt, and upon completion, each participant will receive a small gift of our choosing. Participants can preregister online, or in person on the day of the event. Participants are not guaranteed a t-shirt or a small gift if they register 30 days or fewer before the event (supplies will be limited). After completing the ruck march, marchers will gather at the Santa Fe Plaza to enjoy food, locally-brewed craft beer, and camaraderie.
