2nd Annual Veterans Day 5K & 10K Run/Walk/Ruck

Welcome to our 2nd Annual Veterans Day 5K-10K Ruck & Roll – Scenic Lake Corpus Christi State Park️

Join us this Veterans Day weekend for a powerful event honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. The Veterans Day 5K & 10K Ruck will take place at the beautiful Lake Corpus Christi State Park in Mathis, Texas—a scenic backdrop that embodies the strength, freedom, and unity our veterans have fought to protect.

Participants can choose between a traditional 5K run/walk or the 10K ruck march, carrying weight as a tribute to the loads our service members bear in defense of our nation.

This isn’t just a race—it’s a patriotic experience. The course winds through breathtaking lake views, Texas landscapes, and a community atmosphere filled with pride, gratitude, and respect.

We are excited to continue this tradition; Last year we were honored enough to have raised 2,750.00. and those Proceeds went to The City of Mathis. This year we are hoping to raise more. The proceeds this year will go to a Veterans Non- Profit Organization that helps and honors our future, retired and active-duty veterans. The Organization is located in the Nueces County area, so they help individuals and families in different surrounding areas with VA benefits, Employment and education.

Whether you’re running, rucking, or walking alongside friends and family, your participation directly supports those who have served.
