About This Race
The Mountain Masochist Trail Run (MMTR), created in 1983, is one of the longest-running and most celebrated trail races in the eastern US, offering 50 Mile, 100K, and 50K distances through the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains near Montebello, VA. The course features gravel roads, single track, and jeep roads with significant elevation gain, traversing the George Washington National Forest near peak fall foliage.
