The Ode to Laz Michigan Backyard Ultra is a "last person standing" backyard-format race held at Holly State Recreation Area, following the traditional theme of Lazarus Lake's original Big Dog's Backyard Ultra. Runners complete 4.167-mile trail loops (switching to a paved park road at night) each hour until only one runner remains.
