About This Race
Challenge yourself to one of the toughest races in the Midwest, NO CREW, NO PACERS, just you!
Race Description
Start your frozen trek from the Emma Carlin campground on your first of two 50k loops. Loop #1 will take you west on the Ice Age Trail to the Whitewater and back, followed by your 2nd loop to the Scuppernong Trails and back.
Race Rules
10:00 AM Start time with 24 hours to complete both loops
No outside support - only aid stations (no crews allowed - spectators are welcome)
Required safety gear (Emergency blanket, first aid kit, fire starter or lighter, flashlight or headlamp, an attached light that must be visible at all times.)
Trail etiquette - The trails are mostly single pass. If someone is going fast than you, please move to the side and let them pass. If someone is coming back towards you, move aside and let them pass.
