The Unforeseen is a unique random-distance trail race held at Reedy Creek Nature Preserve in Charlotte, NC, where the race distance (between 4.5 and 27 miles, in 2.25-mile laps) is determined by a dice roll 15 seconds before the start. A 6-hour option is also available for runners to complete as many laps as possible.
