Race to Build 5K and 1-Mile Walk

Race Day Schedule and Location

The Race to Build 5K and 1-Mile Walk features a competitive 5K on a USATF Official Certified Course and a 1-Mile walk/fun run. The 5K will be a USATF Grand Prix Series worth 500 points. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County and their efforts to build and advocate for affordable housing in northern New Jersey.

Check-in: 7:30 AM

Walk Start: 8:30 AM

Race Start: 9:00 AM

Closing Ceremony/Medals: 10:15 AM–11:00 AM

Age Groups and Medals

All ages are welcome to participate!

Medals: Male and female categories in age groups of 5 years (6 medals per age group/102 medals in all)

Medal Categories: Under 12, 12-14, to 85+
