Maddie's Message Race to Secure 5K

Lace up for the Second Annual Maddie’s Message 5K – Race to Secure on November 7, 2026 at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater! Bring your family, your friends, and your energy — because this race is about more than miles. It’s about protecting kids, strengthening our community, and turning awareness into action.

Furniture tip overs injure a child every 30 minutes. Together, we’re changing that. Your registration helps fund free furniture anchoring straps, safety education, and national advocacy efforts that keep families safe.

Run with us because:

You believe every child deserves a safe home.

You want to support a mission born from love, loss, and the determination to prevent future tragedies.

You want your steps to matter — and here, they do.

Join a movement that’s growing, loud, and full of heart. Let’s race for safety, race for change, and race for Maddie. This race is family friendly, mission driven, and built around community.

Why your participation matters:

Run with Purpose: This race honors Maddie, a joyful little girl whose life was cut short by an unsecured dresser. Your involvement carries her story forward and fuels real change.

Support Life Saving Work: Funds raised help us expand awareness campaigns, provide free furniture anchoring kits, and equip parents and caregivers with the tools they need to keep children safe.

Be Part of the Solution: Furniture tip overs are preventable. By showing up, you help shine a spotlight on an issue that deserves national attention.

Build Safer Homes & Stronger Families: Whether you’re a runner, parent, grandparent, or advocate, your presence strengthens a movement dedicated to protecting kids everywhere.

This isn’t just a 5K — it’s a chance to stand up for child safety, support families, and anchor change where it matters most: at home. Run for Maddie. Run for safety. Run to make a difference.
